Linda is a Licensed
Professional Counselor, and has a graduate degree in Counseling
Psychology from Texas Woman's University. Her specialties include
individuals, marital and family therapy. She has had additional
training in grandparents raising grandchildren, trauma, domestic
violence, multicultural issues, women's issues and love/sex addictions.
Linda has worked
for the Irving Family Advocacy Center for the past five years and
continues to work there one day per week counseling with low income
clients of all ages. Linda has also worked with people on the verge
of becoming homeless for a number of years in her church and for
Network of Community Ministries. Linda was a Bible Study Fellowship
discussion leader for many years and a 6th grade Sunday school teacher
in her church. Linda attends the Richardson East Church of Christ,
better known as the CARE church.
Linda is blessed
with a loving, supportive husband, three grown children and three
grandchildren. She has a unique three-generation household, helping
raise one granddaughter living in her home.
