Karen Kerr has been a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice since 1992. She graduated with a Master's in Education in Guidance Counseling from Texas Christian University and has specialized in play therapy. Karen began her career working with children in 1977 as a public school teacher. She taught K-12 regular and special education classrooms. She is the mother of two children.

Karen credits her children with rounding out her formal education with daily experience. Karen has special interests in disability, adoption, yoga, aromatherapy and non pharmacological treatments for anxiety and depression.
